Historical cultural landscape
Those who do not know the past can only poorly understand the present.

Mapping and information
Wayside crosses, ravines, court trees - our landscape holds many witnesses of the past. However, if you are not aware of them you may easily overlook them. Therefore the Regional Authority FrankfurtRheinMain was the first institution in Hesse to systematically record these cultural and historical landscape elements and present them in a cultural landscape cadastre.
The cultural landscape cadastre contributes to taking cultural and historical landscape elements into account during the process of local land use planning as well as making them known to the public.
